Postage Stamp Sheet “Country of Volunteers” — A Tribute to Ukraine’s Brave Helpers

This meaningful postage stamp sheet from Ukrposhta honors the dedication and courage of Ukrainian volunteers—those who selflessly devote their time, energy, and resources to support the country in its fight for freedom.

The idea for the issue was inspired by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s words on International Volunteer Day:

“This is the day of everyone who helps defend the state. Everyone who protects people. Everyone who gives their soul, time, and money so that Ukraine and Ukrainians may succeed… Today, volunteers are the most powerful part of Ukrainian civil society.”

The main stamp design was selected through a public vote and created by renowned Ukrainian artist Anastasiia Bondarets, also known for the iconic stamp “Good Evening, We Are from Ukraine!”. Designs by other finalists—Anastasiia Tuka, Sviatoslav Romanchak, and Mariia Suslova—appear on the official envelope, postcard, and presentation folder of the issue.

Each stamp includes an additional charitable value of 5.00 UAH that will be donated to support humanitarian causes.
