The “Heroic Professions. Brave to Rescue” (Героїчні професії. Сміливі рятувати) stamp set is built around the Ukrainian postage stamp sheet designed by A. Tuka and issued by Ukrposhta on September 17, 2026, Ukraine’s Rescuer’s Day. The set includes one sheet of 6 stamps together with a matching envelope and card. On the stamps, a rescuer in protective gear works amid rubble beneath the header “Heroic Professions. Brave to Rescue” and the emblem of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service (ДСНС).
What Is Included?
- One stamp sheet, containing 6 stamps
- One envelope
- One card
The Story Behind the Design
The issue honors Ukraine’s rescuers: the emergency workers who are the first to walk in where others flee, clearing rubble, taming fires, and staying on site until the last moment in heat or frost, day or night. The envelope and card carry the same message in artwork: a rescuer searching through rubble by the light of a glowing emblem, and a firefighter stepping through a shattered wall into the light.
It is a meaningful keepsake of courage and solidarity for Ukraine supporters worldwide, and a distinctive piece of contemporary Ukrainian philately for stamp collectors.
