The Security Service of Ukraine stamp sheet contains 5 collectible F-denomination Ukrainian postage stamps and is the third and final issue in Ukrposhta’s series dedicated to Ukraine’s defense and security forces.
About the Security Service of Ukraine
The Security Service of Ukraine, commonly known as the SBU, is Ukraine’s national security and intelligence service. During the full-scale war, SBU personnel have worked both behind the front lines and in some of the most dangerous areas of Ukraine.
Their work includes countering enemy intelligence and sabotage groups, identifying agents and collaborators, protecting Ukraine against cyberattacks, conducting special operations, and investigating war crimes.
Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine
The SBU stamp sheet completed Ukrposhta’s “Glory to the Defense and Security Forces of Ukraine!” series in July 2023.
The series honored several branches of Ukraine’s security and defense structure, including the Offensive Guard, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, and finally the Security Service of Ukraine.
The artwork was created by Oleksandr Okhapkin, Honored Artist of Ukraine, and the issue was produced with the assistance of the Security Service of Ukraine.
